Price and Policy

I have a flat rate of $100 per month, which reserves a certain day and time for a half-hour weekly lesson. 

Payment is due on or before the first lesson of the month. Most of the time, there are four lessons per month, and occasionally there are five, but the rate is the same and includes certain holidays. 

If you start in the middle of the month, I’ll prorate the fee for anything less than four lessons. I offer a discounted rate of $90 per additional time slot for any individual or family occupying two or more time slots.

I don’t reschedule missed lessons for any reason; the flat rate is strictly for time reserved. 

If I ever have to cancel, I will give you a refund or prorate the fee for the next month. 

Business hours are Monday – Wednesday 8:00 am – 9:00 pm, and Thursday, from 2:00 – 9:00 pm. 

Intermittent scheduling is available for $30 per half-hour lesson, $60 per hour for those who don’t want or can’t do a regular weekly lesson on the same day and time. You would have to contact me each time with a range of days and times you could make a lesson, and I would find an open time if available; payment is due at the lesson. 

No Refunds

I’m located at 50 S. 12th Street in Quakertown. You can easily find directions on Google by searching Ed Kihm, The Guitar Teacher. Our house is white, colonial-style, with a two-door garage. Follow the paved path around to the left side of the house, and you’ll see the entrance to the waiting room and studio where you can let yourself in.

Parents with children are welcome to sit in during the lesson or in the waiting room.

There will be no lessons on the following holidays, which are included in the flat rate:

Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day

Memorial Day

Independence Day, the 4^th of July
