The following rhythms are the five most common divisions of the beat in sixteenth note rhythms and are the most important to understand.

1.

These are four groups of sixteenth notes, there are four sixteenths in each beat. Each motion of your arm is one sixteenth in the beat. Watch video.

This rhythm has an eighth note and two sixteenth notes. Watch video.

This rhythm has two sixteenth notes and an eighth note. Watch video.
