The following rhythms use combinations of the five most common divisions of the beat with pairs of eighth notes on the first and third beats consistently.

This rhythm uses a pair eighth notes on the first and third beats with groups of four sixteenth notes on the second and fourth beats. Watch video.

 

This rhythm uses a pair eighth notes on the first and third beats, an eighth with two sixteenths on the second and fourth beats. Watch video.
